Build a Exchange 2013 2-Node DAG
This howto explains how to build an exchange 2013 DAG with Labbuildr.
As a Prerequirement, you have to download the required Exchange CU and extract it to your mounted sources vhd.
labbuildr checks if this requirement is met and also if exchange prerequisite files are present (contained on sources.vhd)
In this Example we start a Customized Deployment, where we use:
.\labbuildr.ps1 -Exchange -EXNodes 2 -DAG -ex_cu cu6 -Gateway -VMnet 2 -savedefaults -BuildDomain labbuildr -Master 2012R2UEFIMASTER -MySubnet 10.10.0.0 -AddressF
Different from the former DCNode Build from [labbuildr]howto: Build a Basic Domaincontroller we now use a customized setup ( remove the old dc first 🙂 Hint : get-vmx dcnode | remove-vmx )
Exchange Specific Parameters:
-Exchange # Installs Exchange
-EXNodes 2 # Builds 2 Nodes
-DAG # forms DAG on Top
-ex_cu cu6 # uses CU6
Generic Parameters:
-Gateway # define default gateway on subnet.103
-VMnet 2 # configure vmnet2
-savedefaults # storing in defaults.xml
-BuildDomain labbuildr # customized domain name
-Master 2012R2UEFIMASTER # master os image
-MySubnet 10.10.0.0 # customized subnet
-AddressFamily IPv4 # ip family
